Kinesio tape is a special cotton tape coated with acrylic thermoactive adhesive. The elasticity of tape is similar to the elasticity of human skin. Tapes are designed to ensure adequate muscle function or unloading, reduce pain or swelling, and improve blood and lymph flow. At the same time, this tape is completely hypoallergenic, water-permeable and breathable. It can be used for up to 7 days, 24 hours a day, even in water.

How does this tape work?

Depending on the expected result, the tape is applied with different tension and in different positions. The correction mechanism consists in acting on nerve endings and blood vessels that are between the skin and subcutaneous fat. After applying the tape, the space between these anatomical structures increases. As a result, the flow of blood and lymph through the vessels improves, nerve endings are released.

Who can’t apply tape?

People with individual intolerance, skin diseases, severe concomitant diseases of internal organs, diabetic foot, deep vein thrombosis.
